Our Montessori Object Permanence Box is the perfect tool to introduce the concept of object permanence to your little one from as young as 6 months old. It helps your child to learn that something can be there even when it is not visible. To use the object permanence box, your baby drops the wooden ball through the hole on the box. The ball will momentarily disappear into the box and then reappear as it rolls into the tray where it can be then easily retrieved by your baby. This box is thoughtfully designed to aid in your child’s development of object permanence and to improve hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, focus and concentration. A baby who is still actively developing an understanding of object permanence will often engage in long periods of repetition with this task until mastery is achieved.
